Roots is a fine-quality family-owned restaurant that has been in Lancaster, Ohio for over half a century. Owned by Janet and Jeff Graf (who is a Navy veteran-a Tin Can Sailor), it is located at 1250 N. Memorial Drive, and features a wide variety of home-cooked meals for all occasions. The food is great (Cdr. Margaritis says their breakfast is just excellent), and the prices are very reasonable.

Roots will give all veterans free coffee or a free soft drink with your meal. So the next time you're traveling down N. Memorial Drive, stop in and get a great meal.

Scrambler Marie's Discount

Two Scrambler Marie's breakfast and lunch restaurants in Central Ohio give discounts to active and retired military service members, as well as to law enforcement officers. Come on in, show your military ID, and receive a 10% discount on your bill.

The Reynoldsburg BW3 at 2386 Taylor Square Drive (next to IHOP and The Olive Garden, and across from Wal-Mart) will give a 15% discount to active and retired military service members. LOWES and Home Depot
