With winter set in, the freezing weather of January has set in. Let us remember our upbringing, and reach out to veterans less fortunate than us; especially our homeless vets. On any day in Central Ohio, there are hundreds of them roaming the streets---hungry, without homes, despondent---feeling alone. We must reach out to help. They risked life and limb for our country. Let's not turn our back on them. If you know of any homeless veteran in Reynoldsburg who desperately needs help, contact post officers, the 12th District Council Office (Open M-W-F, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.) at (614) 224-2900, or any Central Ohio American Legion post.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The Reynoldsburg Post is floundering at this point, and is only being kept afloat by the efforts of its officers.
This will be a special post meeting. It will be held as usual at the Truro Township Fire Station located on Livingston Avenue, just north of Brice Road. A main agenda item is to in essence, determine the post's future. All post members are STRONGLY asked to attend and help the officers determine where the post will go. Any qualifying veteran wishing to join is also quite welcome to attend and be a part of the largest veteran organization in the country. Next ASBP Blood Drive
The next armed services blood drive that is open to the public in Central Ohio will be held mid-to-late February at the U.S. Army Reserve Center in Whitehall. For the latest info, check our website at http://www.blooddriveforthetroops.org.

About Us
The American Legion's Ohio Reynoldsburg Post 798 is a growing post, located in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, an eastern suburb of Columbus. The post meets regularly on the second Thursday of each month at the Truro Township Fire House, located on the corner of Brice Road and East Livingston Avenue. All American Legion members are invited to come, and we strongly encourage Reynoldsburg post members to attend and be a part of the meeting.
